Hotel Laxnes is overlooking Mountain Esja and is located opposite a river. Being next to rivers, waterfalls, mountains, sea, and in addition a beautiful lake, therefore we are in an ideal location for nature lovers, hikers and seeing the Northern lights. Whilst being only a 10 minute drive away from the city centre, our village is a perfect balance of enjoying the comforts of the countryside with easy access to all popular destinations, for example Golden Circle, north & west Iceland.

Hotel Laxnes staff are here to help make your Iceland trip a truly wonderful experience.  Above all, they are our gems, let them shine and dazzle you! Why stay in the city centre if you can experience great service, a mountain view and soak in a hot tub (for an extra fee) by staying at the Hotel Laxnes. The studio rooms have own private entrance on ground floor are facing North overlooking the Mountain and great for the Northern Lights !The size of the studio room is 28 square meters. The room includes 2 twin beds, a small kitchenette, bath tub with a shower, flatscreen TV, a desk and chair and a cupboard.
